I have a small balcony in the Netherlands so I'm mostly going to focus on bonsai up to around 25cm or roughly 10 inches.
Had to de-wire some trees today so I figured it would be fun to do a little photoshoot of my trees as they are now. I have a few more trees but those aren't as easily photographed at the moment. One is a pretty thick Hawthorn which was airlayered this year and has been tied down to my bonsai bench, also a few Juniper Nana's. I currently have a passion for Cotoneasters, picked up around 100 cuttings from different kinds in my area and hoping a lot of these will take.
Juniper Chin Ricata, purchaced at a hardware store for 7,50.

Looks like you got a few trees to work with there, been busy collecting. Before you know it 2-3 years will go by and you'll be doing some branch wiring. I try to stay clear of the bigger trees as much as possible just because they can be a hassle to move around. but then you see a nice big piece of stock and you just have to get it haha
Field maple? Has a long way to go but like the leaves on these.
Yew, much older. I think I got this as a cutting in around 2013. Has 3 trunks and might become a clump style in the future. Still has some thickening up to do though. I love the berries on this one!
Pine, same forrest, same bend time.
Another Larix I'm guessing. A bit to bushy for good pictures so one from the "front" and one from the top where you can see the bends a bit better.
Another Larix I guess. Also collected from the same forrest last year and bending done this spring. I like how the bending came out on this one.
Definitely a Larix, collected from the same forrest at the same time as the above. Much bigger pot.
Larix? Collected from a forrest last year, wire and initial bending done in spring this year.
